What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hunting Guide position at Back To Nature Outfitters?
For thirty years, Back To Nature Outfitters has been dedicated to giving our customers the best and most successful hunting experience possible.
We would love to have someone that is interested in guiding every year not just this one year. Customers love to see there guide and look forward to seeing you all year long.
During Trimming Season Pay is 15 up to 18 depending on how you work..
The money is in guiding..
For a full week you will make base pay of $750 Plus tips
You'll have anywhere from 4 to 5 people every 3 days and they average $100 tip per person.
You'll make great money guiding. So we are looking for a quality member for our team.
We are looking someone that is professional and cares about their work
That can show up on time and handle business.
Needs to know about hunting and how to track a deer.
Back To Nature Outfitters.
Dates: August to December
Location: Leggett, North Carolina
I need someone that knows how to talk to customers and track deer and be on time..
Not looking for anyone that doesnt have hunting experience..
You will be required to track however many deer your hunters kill.
You carry out an average of 4 to 5 hunters.
You HAVE TO BE RELIABLE.. HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SHOW UP ON TIME.
We do have a place for you to stay to make it more convenient for everyone.
Here's what the job entails:
Trimming Jobs (August to September): 30ish hours

Fixing and maintaining stands for optimal safety and comfort
Trimming and marking lanes for clear pathways
Maintaining and improving the lodge facilities

Guiding Responsibilities (October to December): Will discuss with you

Transporting hunters to and from their stands
Tracking and cleaning harvested deer
Putting out corn to attract game
Fixing and maintaining stands

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills.. This is like a family. Sometimes they get a little upset cause they don't see what they wanna see and you need to be able to handle that pressure and just let that slide.
Basic carpentry skills for stand and lodge maintenance and repairs
Reliability and punctuality for early morning starts
Ability to learn and navigate directions to various hunting stands
