Job Overview
Back to Nature is an ecologically inspired luxury landscape architecture/construction firm in New Jersey seeking a talented Landscape Maintenance Production Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Weekly and daily scheduling and dispatching of hort./fine gardening crews, mow crews, enhancement crew, annual color and décor crew, and equipment across all service lines
Training, management and oversight of foreman and crews
General setup/layout of maintenance visits to ensure property quaility and accuracy as sold/requested by client manager/ manitenance manager
Regular communication with Client Managers to ensure that client’s expectations are being met or exceeded
Communicating with in-house team as needed to ensure potential issues are quickly resolved
Strategic planning, routing, and forecasting so that work is being comleted by necessary deadlines
Monitoring and adjustments of irrigation systems to ensure optimal health of all plant material and turf
Ensure all weekly, bi-weekly, monthly plant healthcare inspections and treatments are being performed on sites
Coordiante outside PHC (Plant Health Care) treatments with Client Manager
Accurate completion of job reports (Weekly)
Perform weekly safety meetings as provided by MPG and oversee overall safety on jobsites and implementation of company safety protocols
Ability and willingness to do other job functions as requested
Developing and maintaining positive management and field relationships and attitudes.
Job Requirements
Strong organization, communication, critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills
Desire to be the best in industry and to further advance the landscape profession
Proficiency or ability to learn Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other computer programs as necessary
Associate or bachelor’s degree in landscape field preferred but not required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in landscape / horticulture
Attention to detail
Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative problem solver
Plant ID knowledge
Driver’s License
