Back 2 Health Physical Therapy is seeking a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. We are a successful, and established, Physical Therapist owned practice with three locations throughout the Los Angeles area. NEW GRADS WELCOME!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Explains the physical therapy procedures and equipment to patients and checks for understanding
- Instructs patients, families, and caregivers in physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programs
- Document patient care services by charting in files and EMR according to guidelines in a timely manner
- Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and practice
- Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from Physical Therapist
- Reports all changes to patient’s condition to the Physical Therapist as immediacy dictates
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Strong computer skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Graduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant in California
- Current CPR Certification
Requirements :
Education and Experience
This position is full time (40 hours weekly)
Schedule :
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8am - 4pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am - 7pm
