Customer Service Representative
Backcountry Gear is located in Eugene, OR and specializes in outdoor equipment for lightweight backpacking, climbing, hiking, camping and backcountry use. We are predominately an ecommerce company operating www.backcountrygear.com We also have a local store in Eugene attached to our office and warehouse.
We are looking for an individual to work as Customer Service Representative for our website sales.
Responsibilities include: Requires use of Chat and phone to answer customer questions, take orders, process returns, moderate product reviews, research products to meet customer needs.
Continuously acquire and retain product knowledge through the research of specific items and product categories.
Other duties include occasional work in the warehouse depending on seasonal spikes in orders.
Compensation:
$14.50 to $16 per hour DOE

Job Requirements:
Prior experience in Ecommerce
Must have good knowledge base of backpacking & climbing equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent typing skills
Organization and Multi-tasking are required.
Customer service oriented.
We are currently looking to fill a Full time position, Monday-Friday.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
