Backhaul Direct is hiring a Customer Success Leader for our Indianapolis, IN office to join the team and hit the ground running. The Customer Success Leader will be actively prospecting customers to help streamline their shipping and transportation needs while utilizing Grapevine (Backhaul Direct’s proprietary TMS). Our ideal new team member will have a proven track record of creating strategic relationships with customers by becoming a trusted expert in all their supply chain needs. At Backhaul Direct, we are more than just a brokerage, we are a consultant to our customers supply chain needs.

What will you do as a Customer Success Leader?
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a book of business by building prospects, generating leads, researching and contacting potential customers in a competitive, fast-paced industry
  • Looking for the challenge of bringing in new customers by providing excellent customer service
  • Responsible for in depth research on prospects while strategically building book of business
  • Generate new sales leads through networking to build and maintain relationships
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Become an expert on Grapevine TMS; display a deep understanding of its functionality, features, and impact for potential and established customers and be able to leverage it to add value to your portfolio
  • Educate customers on the benefits of Grapevine TMS and all services offered by Backhaul Direct
  • Coordinate with Account Management team and the customer to implement the customer's solution, including participation in onboarding
  • Work within your team and other BHD team members to produce innovated ways to grow and improve accounts
 
What are the qualifications of the Customer Success Leader?
  • Bachelor’s degree highly desired
  • 0-2 years of previous sales experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Hunter mentality
  • Proven past success in managing relationships with business partners
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives.
  • High energy level to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to contribute to a dynamic and high-energy sales team
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remain on-task with minimal supervision
