Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting techniques and their application in live theatre performances. As a Lighting Designer, you will collaborate with directors, producers, and other designers to create visually stunning environments that enhance storytelling and engage audiences.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Design and implement innovative lighting solutions for theatre.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop lighting concepts that align with the overall vision of the project.
- Utilize software tools to create lights for scenes, songs and audience environment.
- Use our light board (Allen and Heath SQ6) & provided lighting plot to create designs
- Knowlege of QLab and Garage Band
- Oversee the operation of lighting equipment during rehearsals and performances.
- Troubleshoot any lighting issues that arise during production to ensure seamless execution.
We are currently looking to hire for a small lighting project that rehearses Monday/Wednesdays 4:00-6:00pm and performs in May 2025. With projects for Summer 2025 and School Year 2025-2026 coming soon.
