Job Summary : Backyard Products is looking for an experienced Photographer / Graphic Designer to join our in-house Brand Creative Team, based out of our Dallas, TX office. Our Brand Creative Team is thoughtful, collaborative, and works cross-functionally to execute creative work for our brands that we sell through big box stores, eCommerce, and our own DTC websites.
The Photographer / Graphic Designer should have strong knowledge and experience as a commercial photographer and a firm grasp of the Adobe Creative Suite. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality, compelling photographs and video content that aligns with brand identity. Experience shooting both on-location and in-studio is a huge plus. You will work closely with the marketing and creative team to conceptualize and execute photo shoots, ensuring the final products meet the brief and the quality standards of excellence. Multiple shoots per year and travel is required.

Key Responsibilities :
- Execute photo and video production at a high level of quality.
- Create detailed shot lists for photo and video production. Organize equipment for location and in-studio shoots. Direct talent when necessary.
- Review and approve talent for production.
- Help with art direction and propping of sets and locations.
- Provide color correction, image enhancement, retouching, and Photoshop editing.
- Ensure a modern, aesthetic, and clean look and feel in all imagery and design elements.
- Understand the tone and look across multiple company brands.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team and Creative team to ensure all final artwork is accurate to required specs for digital and print production.
- Design a wide range of marketing collateral, including but not limited to, website landing pages, digital ads, social assets, PDP content, in-store POS, brochures, and catalogues.
- Create concepts for marketing campaigns demonstrating design expertise and trend awareness.
