Studio Shed Lawn Master is a fast-growing company that specializes in prefabricated backyard buildings and Pavilions/Pergolas for various purposes, such as home offices, guest rooms, studios, and ADUs. We are looking for a residential construction manager to oversee the installation and completion of our projects in the Bay Area.
As a residential construction manager, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with clients, sales representatives, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure the timely and quality delivery of our products.
- Managing the project contract, budget, schedule, permits, inspections, change orders, and all documentation.
- Supervising the site preparation, foundation work, assembly, and finishing of our buildings through DIY, DIFM, and Direct channels.
- Predicting and troubleshooting any issues or problems that may arise during the installation process.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, building, and environmental codes and regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of satisfaction among our clients.
- Recruit, train, and manage subcontractors to meet the demand of DIFM and Direct channels
- Work closely / communicate consistently with the Colorado office regarding project schedules, budgets, metrics, and future initiatives
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the full project lifetime
- Understand the market to accurately quote project installation in a timely and locally competitive manner
- Actively manage construction projects from site visits to scope calls to closeout punch walks
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in residential construction management, ideally with prefabricated or modular buildings.
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- A strong knowledge of the local building codes and regulations in the Bay Area.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The willingness to travel within the Bay Area and occasionally to other regions as needed.
