Position Description
The Glass Shop Associate performs the tasks and functions required to handle, cut, and prepare glass and glazing products for customers and other departments within the company as well as perform warehouse duties as needed.
This individual shall be required to perform these functions:
- Work safely and follow all safety rules as presented by BVB management
- Work independently and consistently with occasional supervisory oversight
- Work well in a group environment and interact with other associates & supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
- Coordinate receiving and shipping of products to/from warehouse area
- Accept guidance and constructive criticism from supervisors and management
- Begin the work shift on time; work consistently through the day, and work until the end of the shift
- Maintain a clean work area
- Understand how to read a tape measure and do basic geometry functions
- Lift 50 pounds from floor to table height
- Lift up to 75 pounds when unloading trucks
- Safely use common tools found in the construction trades including occasional power saws and power sanders
- Strive to minimize the amount of scrap produced during manufacturing

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
