In 1989, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was born on the Big Island of Hawaii with a goal of sharing American-grown, premium Hawaiian coffee from Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Moloka‘i, Kona and Ka’u with coffee lovers everywhere. Today, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii continues to serve premium Hawaiian and other top international coffees with a kick – but Bad Ass Coffee franchises don’t stop there. We also serve popular blended drinks, teas, food and branded merchandise with exceptional service

We are seeking to hire energetic and courteous Baristas, with a passion for the ‘Aloha Spirit’ and aspiration to deliver a premium Hawaiian beverage and food experience to our Clearwater Beach customers. Our baristas are charged with greeting customers, answering questions, providing recommendations, taking orders, and accepting payments. Our baristas also craft and serve high quality beverages and food, to include distinctly hot drinks (coffees, espressos, lattes, and teas), specialty cold drinks (coffees, lattes, smoothies, and teas) and gourmet foods (bagels, donuts, muffins, and sandwiches), engaging with a captivating experience and building enduring customer relationships.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Bad Ass Coffee
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
• Follows Bad Ass Coffee's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift.
• Provides drinks, and food products consistently for all customers by following recipes and company standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Communicates information to the manager to effectively maintain the Bad Ass Coffee store and customer experience.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
