This unique position will require you to serve diligently in an academic setting where security and hospitality are paramount. Extensive walking and attention to detail is required in this position. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the client and their guests, while also providing exceptional hospitality and customer service.

This position will serve as an on-call/as needed fill in for a variety of post covering full time positions.This is not a full time or position with regular hours scheduled

Responsibilities

· Maintain the upmost professionalism, attention to detail, and readiness

· Deliver outstanding customer service to clients, guests, and others at the site

· Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures of both TNT and the client

· Conduct foot patrols of the client facilities routinely to ensure security protocols are followed and the site is secure

· Monitor CCTV and other security equipment for signs of suspicious activity

· Communicate effectively with the client, law enforcement, their staff, and their consumers

· Report incidents and activities promptly and accurately

· Maintain detailed logs of daily activities

· Stand and walk frequently, including for extended periods, and navigate stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain.

Additional physical requirements may include:

· Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds

· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

· Active Level III Texas guard card required...This is non negotiable.

· Clean criminal background check required, with no history of felony arrest or misdemeanor arrests in the last 10 years

· Successful drug screening required

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a security officer/guard role required

· Excellent customer service skills required

· Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism required

· Valid driver’s license required
