Responsibilities
- Direct all operational aspects of the branch including execution of household moves, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales support.
- Determine staffing needs and facilitate the onboarding and training of new moving staff.
- Promote quality & safety and uphold all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete performance audits during moves to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate employee scheduling on a weekly basis, truck assignments, and daily dispatch of move crews.
- Occasionally work on the job to provide moving services, train new employees, or fill-in as needed.
- Hold weekly meetings with moving staff.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators of moving staff, conduct quarterly evaluations, and facilitate team development and motivation.
- Work closely with our Sales Manager to ensure all moves are covered in a way that best serves our clients.
- Manage inventory (packing supplies, tools, equipment, etc.)
- Manage our fleet of trucks, ensuring routine maintenance and emergency repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Mentor and develop subordinates for ongoing success and future growth.
- Maintain and develop a fun and exciting work culture.
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Proven branch management experience is preferred.
- Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
- Ability to meet goals and metrics; Results driven and customer focused.
- Leadership and human resource management skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented; Ability to multi-task.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 75lbs or more.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
- Proficient with Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs.
- Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, etc is helpful!
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check.
- Pay range: $73,000-$80,000 (includes salary and bonus potential)
