We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician and also a Apprentice Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest management practices and the ability to effectively communicate with clients about pest control solutions. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems.
- Apply appropriate pest control methods and treatments using various tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for pest management tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide advice on landscape management to minimize infestations.
- Drive to various job sites in a timely manner while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and best practices in pest control.
Experience
- Previous experience in pest control or related fields such as lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, as you will be responsible for promoting services to clients.
- Ability to operate farm machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally and address their concerns.
- A valid driver's license and driving record is required for this position.
