Job Summary:
The Ford Quicklane Technician at Badger Quick Lane Tire & Auto is a full-time, hourly skilled labor/contractor technical professional in the auto industry. This individual contributor role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and performing a variety of minor and preventive maintenance services on Ford vehicles.

Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance on all makes and models of Ford vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotation and balancing, brake service, wheel alignment, shocks/struts, and multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Identify automotive parts and repair needs and accurately provide pricing estimates for service jobs.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and communicate job status updates to customers or other dealership personnel.
• Test drive vehicles to verify that repairs have been satisfactory.
• Follow all safety guidelines and rules as outlined in Badger Quick Lane Tire & Auto’s safety policy.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic automotive skills, as well as knowledge of Ford vehicles
• At least one year of automotive maintenance and repair experience
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications
• Must be able to stand/walk/stoop/crouch/kneel for extended periods
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
