  • Read customer orders and completing all projects to specifications.
  • Read production schedules and determine materials needed.

· Maintain a knowledge of coating, painting and spraying equipment and machines, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

· Perform basic set-ups on coatings, painting and spraying equipment and machines.

· Clean machines, related equipment and work areas, using water, solvents, and other leaning aids.

· Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using viscometers.

· Select appropriate coatings, paints or sprays, or prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas.

· Attach hoses or nozzles to machines, using wrenches and pliers and make adjustments to obtain proper dispersion of spray.

· Transfer completed items or products from machines to drying or storage areas, using handcarts, hand trucks, or cranes.

· Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual.

· Handle any problems that might arise with spray paint booth including locating source of problem and turning off booth to prevent any additional problems or complications.

  • Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly.
  • Work with Material Handler to make sure material for each job is on schedule and in proper location.
  • Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards.
  • Communicate and work well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
