Forklift Operator in Pittsville, WI. Starting $16.55-18.50 off experience, plus $1,000 sign on bonus.

Warehouse staff are responsible for organizing and moving product within the Gardner Cold Storage environment. Primary duties are accomplished with forklift driving and understanding of system and production needs. Accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively both individually and with others. Ability to “high stack” a plus.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Manage cold storage organization and efficiency through product movement.
- Establish strong understanding of system; as a whole, to better support operations.
- Safely and effectively operate forklift to support product movement.
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Ensure GMP and SQF compliance.
- Ensure monitoring of HACCP CCP and Pre-requisite programs.
- Monitor visitor and contractor activity in the facility.
- Communicate potential and actual Food Safety Issues to direct Supervisor or QA to initiate the corrective action process.
- Maintain familiarity with all team members and review assignments.
- Anticipate problem areas of engagements and questions that will arise.
- Communicate progress of engagements, problems, and resolutions to clients.
- Work Environment:
- Hair restraints are required. Earplugs, safety glasses and or other PPE may be required.
- Ability to constantly stand/walk; climb stairs; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with left or right hand.
- Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors in tight quarters.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with temperatures as low as -10°
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license
