Foundry Production Associate
Badger State Staffing is seeking a Foundry Production Associate for a full-time opportunity based in the Appleton area. This position involves working with custom molds that range in size to produce high-quality castings. The ideal candidate will be physically fit to perform demanding tasks and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Primary Duties :
- Inspect molds for cleanliness, damage, or defects
- Properly position and secure molds using weights and clamps
- Utilize precise pouring techniques to fill molds
- Apply hot topping and heat tags to optimize casting quality
- Monitor cooling process and remove clamps and weights once molds have cooled sufficiently
- Safely operate various machinery, including forklifts, hoists, and pouring equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Shift : Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required based on production.
