Badger State Staffing is seeking a Trailer Technician to join our client's growing team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance or fabrication and will be responsible for repairing and servicing the mechanical, electrical, and other components of trailers. This role requires the ability to use hand and power tools, weld, and use of other testing and repair equipment.
Schedule : Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Overtime may be required based on work orders.
Primary Duties :
- Diagnose and determine necessary mechanical, electrical, and other repairs to meet customer expectations
- Perform DOT & PM inspections on trailers
- Perform MIG welding and fabrication of steel and aluminum, as needed
- Repair electronics and run trailer wiring, as needed
- Repair and replace tires
- Provide assistance to customers on service calls
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including forms, timecards, parts requests, and other documentation related to trailer repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
