What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at Badger Technical Services?
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking a motivated Shop Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn valuable skills in machining, metalworking, and equipment maintenance. Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30/3:00pm. $18–$20hr, maybe little higher based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assembly of small parts and precision components
- Operation of a sandblaster for finishing products
- Filing and deburring metal parts for quality control
- Cleaning and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Basic metalworking techniques and fabrication processes
- Operation of various shop machines used in production
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the shop floor
- Empty waste receptacles and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Clean and maintain CNC machines and ensure proper fluid levels
- Handle materials for OEM inventory and production
- Clean and inspect finished machined products
- File and smooth metal products to meet quality standards
- Assist in loading production CNC runs
- Apply steel stamping for part identification

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Experience in a shop or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to currently identify fraction on ruler.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
