Badlands Integrity Group is currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to fill the crucial role of Drug and Alcohol Specimen Technician. This position plays a vital part in maintaining workplace safety and compliance, as the ideal candidate will collect, handle, and process drug and alcohol specimens for testing following company, federal, and lab policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
-Collect various specimens (urine, breath, saliva, hair, etc.) from individuals for drug and alcohol testing.
-Ensure proper labeling, handling, and chain of custody procedures for all collected specimens.
-Follow established protocols and guidelines to maintain the integrity and accuracy of specimen collections and testing.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy requirements when handling and processing specimens.
-Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
-High School diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in specimen collection or related field is a plus
-Prior experience in specimen collection or handling is preferred.
-Knowledge of drug and alcohol testing procedures and regulations is beneficial.
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as a part of a TEAM.
-Commitment to upholding the highest standards of specimen handling and testing procedures.
-Ability to work on mobile collections within a 100-mile radius.
-MUST be dependable.
