ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Welcome all guests to our restaurant in a polite and friendly manner with a smile
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas
- Provide menus and announce waiter/waitress name
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with wait staff on available seating options
- Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address guest questions
- Assist wait staff as needed
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Maintain a clean reception area
Qualifications
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to be flexible in all situations based on business need
- Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
- Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at Badlands
- Previous experience in restaurant business
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Friendly attitude & excellent people skills
