Job Description BAE Systems is currently seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our integrated Operations & Sustainment (O&S) team providing critical 24x7 mission support to our customer and will interface with engineering resources located at other facilities. This position requires strong LINUX operating system experience.
The Application Support Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the customer application and monitoring / investigation of segment interfaces. The Application Support Engineer, under the direction of the O&S Site Lead, is responsible for working with on-site database and system administration support personnel to convey and investigate system anomalies. The Application Support Engineer is responsible for investigation into operational issues and performing problem escalation with vendor, factory, on-site & east coast based Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required. The Application Support Engineers are used to provide rotating site support (7x24) on a panama schedule to ensure system issues are identified and resolved, minimizing operational impacts - shift work is required.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $83900 - $142600
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
