Through research programs funded by science and technology R&D organizations within the U.S. Department of Defense, the research and development team in FAST Labs collaborate across the enterprise. On this team, you’ll have the opportunity to create and develop advanced technology capabilities in the areas of advanced electronics, autonomy, cyber, electronic warfare, and sensors and processing.
About the Role :
FASTLABs Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to join an existing team and lead the platform integration of a novel multi-function RF system. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with scientists, fellow engineers, and industry partners to realize innovative solutions for complex and challenging national security problems. Your focus as a team member includes integration, testing, and debugging of systems employing EW / RF convergence effects.
The ideal candidate will have experience :
- Lead integration and test activities, including leading teams, supporting field tests, integrating hardware / software on platforms at remote sites, and managing customer interactions.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to integrate, debug performance issues, and recommend solutions.
- Develop test plans and associated infrastructure to ensure test strategies meet customer expectations.
- Clearly communicate ideas, concerns, and solutions to the team, industry partners, customers, and FASTLABS management.
- Ensure an appropriate level of rigor is applied to achieve systems that meet customer needs.
- Apply critical thinking and analytical skills across multiple domains, working collaboratively to solve problems in innovative ways.

Full-Time Salary Range : $126610 - $215270
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
