BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking a Principal Program Quality Engineer to support the F35 production program in New Hampshire. In this role, you will help amplify the voice of Quality with predictable and proactive implementation of the quality sciences.
As a Principal Program Quality Engineer you will leverage your knowledge of the quality sciences to help the team meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets with an emphasis on proactive problem solving. This role focuses on communication with internal and external customers, championing continuous improvement, and helping the team make decisions and drive actions based on data.
Responsibilities include :
- Providing support and guidance to the Quality team supporting the F35 Electronics Modules
- Leveraging data to help drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce CoPQ
- Planning and executing Quality Management Systems Audits
- Leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
- Leading containment and disposition activities
- Facilitating Material Review Boards (MRBs)
- Generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for new business activities
- Serving as a Phase Review Assessor
- Supporting the Master Return Agreement (MRA)
- Championing Production Process Verification (PPV) / First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Communicating clearly and concisely with internal and external customers
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years of experience
- Proven understanding of quality science tools (8D RCCA, SPC, Auditing)
- Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement
- Organized; capable of juggling several tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team-oriented; ability and desire to work with a hybrid team
- Demonstrated leadership of a group or team
- Active Secret or higher clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (or the desire to obtain)
- Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau, MiniTab, or other dashboarding and data analytics tools
- Proficient in TipQA, Solumina, Paperless or other MES / QMS systems

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative / in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Full-Time Salary Range : $112420 - $191070
Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
