BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer to support operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
You will be responsible for :
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment, and conducts quality assurance tests.
- Familiar with Work Order Review, Purchase Order Quality Requirements.
- May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis
- Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years quality engineering experience in aerospace, machine parts, and assemblies or equivalent experience (10 years).
- Familiar with AS9100, AS9102
