BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Systems Engineering Director to lead the development and implementation of Product Security strategies across the Electronic Systems Sector. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of product security, Cyber Resilience and Cyber Survivability, as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing training programs.
The qualified candidate will provide functional management of the Electron Systems (ES) Cyber Systems Engineering (CSE) department and project management for the ES Cyber Resilience Capability Group (CRCG). This position focuses on implementing BAE Systems vision for Cyber Resilience by Design and requires deep knowledge and experience with cybersecurity engineering. The position is funded at approximately 50% indirect for strategic initiatives and 50% direct for program responsibilities or new business activities. Taking this assignment requires that the candidate can support either direct cyber systems engineering program tasks, IRAD, or new business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering / technical discipline
- 10 years of work experience covering the following areas : Strategy Development and Execution, Program Management, Contracting, Cyber Systems Engineering, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems. The candidate must have hands-on experience with developing RMF accreditation packages on DoD and IC programs.
- DoD 8570 compliance certifications including ISC2 CISSP
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Because of the need for intermittent in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform a portion of work onsite, this position will be considered hybrid. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 50% or more of the time, as well as remotely when applicable.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $164,000 - $278,800

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
