As a Facility Engineering Intern, you will participate in our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will have the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The Facilities team is seeking a Facility Engineering Intern with project management background, who will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems Project Management services Program. This position will be located on-site at the York, PA facility. Relocation will not be offered, and housing is not provided.
As a Facility Engineering Intern, you will:

• Development and maintenance of master projects worksheet for business’s facility related projects.
• Work with Operations and their business plan to align with the Facilities Capital plan and the timed execution.
• Support various facility teams by completing project tasks.
• Work within and across teams to accomplish goals at a safe and efficient manner.
• Lead and/or support Capital or expense projects. Low to mid-level complexity.
• Help drive project management methodologies and incorporate templates and guidelines.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Currently enrolled Bachelor’s Degree program pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields at an accredited university
• Ability to work for at least 10 weeks during the summer
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must have Junior or Senior standing.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in AutoCAD
• Experience or demonstrated interest in developing forecasting models
• Experience developing data in PowerBI

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $40600 - $54800

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
