Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Applies a variety of standard and experimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts in conformance with military specifications.
- Ensures proper surface masking and preparations, mixing epoxies and solvents to appropriate ratios by weight, volume or viscosity, incorporating a knowledge of scales and weights and how substances interact.
- Prepares the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking and stenciling.
- Selects and mixes finishing materials: coats and /or touches up product with such materials as paint, acrylic, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and stain using.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and procedures.
- Works from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing processes, applications and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical.

Full-Time Salary Range: $39219 - $62751

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
