Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is currently looking for a Full Stack Developer (Sr) to join an innovative team of developers in Washington, DC. This position supports the development of mission-critical applications for a federal government client focused on national security.
The senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production. Includes the technical analysis of requirements, development of the software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
- 8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or microservices, database, search).
- Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and/or upgrading of software systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability.
- Java (JEE Development)
- Strong JavaScript/Ajax Application Development
- Angular version 2 or above
- Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
- Tomcat
- PostgreSQL
- GIT LAB experience
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- JUNIT experience
- Experience in managing deployments and servers for hosting AWS applications to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Atlassian tools
- Microservices architecture
- UI/UX tools (like Figma)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
