Job Description
BAE Systems is a leading provider of defense, aerospace, and security solutions. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of electrical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in translating system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs
• Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting
• Integrate and evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
• Create design documentation, define and implement test procedures
• Work closely with PWB packaging and layout engineers
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years experience
• Experience with product development and support of electronics equipment
• Solid fundamentals of digital/analog/power/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standards
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
