As an HPC Technical Expert, you will be part of a team that leads research and development initiatives, architects and designs cutting-edge solutions for the HPC Infrastructure environment.
- You will handle complex challenges, lead research and development initiatives, architect and design solutions, and provide expert consultations to Program Managers and IT staff.
- As a Technical Expert, you are expected to set educational performance standards for the technical team.
- You will maintain technical working aids, create and develop standard operating procedures, and conduct technical exchanges and lead brown bag sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
In addition to a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate poly and 100% on-site work requirement, you must have:
- 15 years of experience in a system architecture or administration role.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high performance filesystems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre.
- Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
- Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and SuSe operating systems.
- Valid RHCSA or higher Red Hat certification and/or valid VM Ware certification.
