Job Title: Mechanical Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Analyst to support our EO/IR/RF, precision pointing, and countermeasures-based products and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and high quality mechanical analysis to local (NH-based) programs, as well as other programs in the ES portfolio (remote support).
- Plan and execute analysis activities with program engineers and managers, and lead a small team, if required.
- Perform structural and thermal analyses using classical methods and finite element methods.
- Create and post-process Finite Element Models (FEM) ranging from sub-component level to the system level using Siemens Simcenter 3D/NX, NASTRAN, Ansys Mechanical, and Ansys Icepak.
- Collaborate with design engineers from various disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, and Systems) to optimize system designs across Electronic Systems' full portfolio of products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience performing modal, random vibration, shock, and static analyses of structures.
- Experience performing steady-state and transient heat transfer analyses.
- Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance at the 'Secret' level.
- Clear communication – both oral and written – and a positive attitude.
Pay Information:
$112,420 - $191,070 per year.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
