Job Description
The role of the Operations Specialist II is to help manage the programs/projects within Operations responsibility. They serve as a liaison amongst the various functional groups within Operations and POC between Operations as a whole and the balance of the company. The Ops Specialist II aids in preparing project execution plans identifying the technical and business resources needed, managing schedules, preparing and presenting status of projects, assessing issues, and developing resolutions. As a member of the program operations team, the OPS has the ultimate responsibility for cost, quality, and delivery on their assigned programs.
This role will be primarily supporting the EPAWSS program in the TacAir product line. The focus of this person will be supporting the production team by setting and communicating program priorities, actioning material constraints, supporting strategic debug efforts, conducting data analysis, and supporting affordability initiatives. This OPS will be an integral member of a critical production program.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform most work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Have the ability to:
- Assists the Operation Program Manager on Operations performance against the baseline program plan by monitoring quality, schedule, and cost performance of all Operations functions.
- Gather and interpret Operations data and schedule status and present it in a clear and concise manner to Operations Management, Program Management, and/or Engineering Management.
- Actively participate in project/team meetings providing clear direction to the various functional areas.
- Understand and interpret corporate policy and procedure, insuring program compliance.
- Good interpersonal skills required at all levels of the team, various levels of management.
- Review of project performance against established metrics and support development of "return to green" plans when required.
- Assure the accomplishment of programs goals through the efficient and effective utilization of operations resources.
- Interface with the appropriate organizations within Operations to ensure any changes which will impact assigned tasks have been appropriately communicated and addressed.
- Supports operations functions in a manner consistent with the statement of work negotiated with the customer and applicable management directives and practices.
