Job Title: Principal Mechanical Analyst
We are seeking an experienced mechanical analyst to provide technical leadership and support our EO/IR/RF, precision pointing, and countermeasures-based products and related technologies.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with local program engineers and managers to plan and execute analysis activities, providing high-quality mechanical analysis and technical leadership.
- Lead a small team, if required, to optimize system designs across Electronic Systems' full portfolio of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and thermal analyses using classical methods and finite element methods.
- Create and post-process Finite Element Models (FEM) ranging from sub-component level to the system level using Siemens Simcenter 3D/NX, NASTRAN, Ansys Mechanical, and Ansys Icepak.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience performing modal, random vibration, shock, and static analyses of structures.
- Clear communication – both oral and written – and a positive attitude.
Compensation:
$112,420 - $191,070 per year.
