Principal webMethods/MuleSoft Integration Support Engineer [REMOTE]

Job Description

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking an Integration Platform Support Engineer with webMethods and/or Mulesoft experience for our growing Enterprise Integration Services team. This position will support an area of strategic growth within our IT organization and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of highly-skilled integration professionals, while collaborating with multiple architecture and infrastructure support functions to support all lines of business across the company.

As an Integration Platform Support Engineer, primary goals will include ensuring that day-to-day Production incidents and service disruptions are resolved in a timely manner, proactively ensuring integration service availability, as well as supporting for various business-critical projects/programs.
Responsibilities Include:

• Triage and troubleshoot Production incidents and keep customers updated on status and/or resolution
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on major Production incidents
• Proactively monitor system health and availability and address any actual or potential problems
• Provide support for integration platform, as well as, integrated applications and infrastructure planned maintenance events (e.g., upgrade, patching, etc.)
• Develop bug fixes and enhancements and work with the development team to implement Tier-3 bug fixes and enhancements
• Provide development and testing environment support
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Provide integration testing support
• Work with the development team to ensure adequate Operations & Management (O&M) knowledge transfer for new solutions deployed to Production
• Document and maintain knowledge base support articles
• Perform compliance-related IT Controls reviews
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate O&M operations, support, and maintenance processes

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
4 years of experience working with software (installation, configuration management, development, etc.)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system/application integration
• Minimum 2 years of experience working full time with a COTS integration solution – webMethods and/or Mulesoft
• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps
• Experience in full SDLC of integration solutions
• BS Degree
• US CITIZEN

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• 6 years of experience working with software (development, configuration management, production support, etc.)
  At least 4 years of experience in system/application integration
  At least 4 years of experience developing or supporting integration solutions with the webMethods and/or MuleSoft integration platforms
• Familiarity with UNIX based operating systems and ability to develop and debug simple shell scripts
• Experience in designing and supporting integration solutions involving on-premise and cloud components
• Understanding of different security protocols and ability to communicate with partners to reach agreed design for authentication and authorization for solutions

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $77814 - $132283

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Salary : $77,814 - $132,283
