ECS’s Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Solutions (TacAir) product line has an exciting opportunity for a program manager to join the TacAir Sustainment programs team. The successful candidate will focus on sustainment activities over multiple concurrent programs and will be responsible for achieving aggressive cost and schedule targets, as well as strategic partnerships and future sustainment planning.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, and execute a collection of programs supporting a system sustainment capability, to include repairs, field service, factory depot standup and organic depot activation.
- Assist Sustainment Director and capture teams with strategies and approaches for the development of long-term sustainment concepts such as designing product support packages that achieve customer readiness goals.
- Develop approaches to retrofit fielded systems to incorporate technology improvements for both hardware and software.
- Provide Product Support and Logistics Subject Matter Expertise to United States Government customers across domestic and international programs for matters concerning acquisition and sustainment.
- Assist with the development of proposals for Product Support, Logistics and Sustainment captures for existing and future opportunities.
- Develop business cases to determine courses of action for product support improvements
- Lead a multi-functional team to deliver repairs within contractual repair turnaround times (RTAT)
- Measure and regularly report on program results, including to senior leadership and customer(s)
- Lead through inspiration and encouragement and foster a culture of innovative problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement on the program team to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable outcomes.
- Demonstrate a leading role in promoting adherence to the company’s ethical standards and business practices; ensure compliance with the BAE Systems Operational Assurance Framework and all other policies and requirements; provide for good stewardship of the assets of the business.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and security objectives and policies.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 6-8 years of experience leading program teams through all phases of the lifecycle, or 10-12 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Defense Acquisition University Life Cycle Logistics Level II or Foundational Certification
- Deep knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process, appropriations, contract types and knowledge of the DoD life cycle material commands (LCMC).
- Understanding of the Electromagnetic Spectrum and application of Electronic Warfare within the DoD
- Negotiation/capture/contract initiation experience
- Ability to utilize predictive models to optimize the delivery of product support to customers
- Experience integrating scope/schedule/ budget for successful execution of program objectives
- Working knowledge of risk/opportunity management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within and across functional boundaries.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to interface and negotiate with and present to a variety of stakeholders
- Secret Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- PMP Certification
- Organic Depot Activation of a noncommercial weapons system
- Defense Acquisition University Life Cycle Logistics Level III or Advanced Certification
- Negotiation/capture/contract initiation experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
