Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector IV, supporting operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
You will:
- Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Asseblies.
- Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
- IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- HS and 4 years' experience
- Experience inspecting Electronic Components and Assemblies, Electrical Harnesses and Cables, and Circuit Cards
- Experience using Microscope, Eye Loup, and other means of Magnification
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Must be able to read blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawings or inspection instructions
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred. IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $52955 - $84728
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
