Job Description
At BAE Systems, we are seeking a skilled Integration and Test Lead to work on cross-functional teams designing, integrating, debugging, and testing novel RF systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading test planning activities, system integration & test, qualification testing, and test execution in a field deployment environment.
This role requires strong leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex RF programs. You should be proficient in documenting, communicating, leading, and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations. Experience with digital communications, digital signal processing (DSP), and test equipment such as RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight to integration & test efforts to ensure that the overall I&T program meets expectations
- Lead small, medium, or large teams of engineers on RF-related programs
- Create system test plans, procedures, and reports
- Support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost estimating, and presentation activities
- Work with customer and program leadership to coordinate, schedule, and ensure readiness to perform test events
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field)
- Minimum 8 years of experience with BS, 6 years with MS, or 4 years with PHD
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex RF programs
- Proficient in documenting, communicating, leading, and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
- Experience with digital communications, digital signal processing (DSP), and test equipment such as RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
