Job Description
The selected candidate will provide administrative support to BAE Systems Program and Project managers including, but not limited to:
- Administrative tasks, such as compiling spreadsheets for submission to government customers, market research, processing and maintaining purchase requests, and order tracking
- Provide daily and/or weekly reports to BAE Systems management as assigned
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Use basic Microsoft software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School diploma and at least 2 years of related work experience OR High School diploma and 1 year of government / military / DoD experience in administrative functions
Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality support
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Associate degree or higher level of education
Oracle experience
Experience performing expense reconciliation using Concur
Pay Information
This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
