Senior Principal RF Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal RF Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our engineering development team, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering support on complex electronic modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of complex RF circuit card assemblies
- Lead/Mentor a team of junior engineers
- Support test and troubleshooting of systems, modules, and sub-assemblies of RF modules
- Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause
- Generate and implement improvements in product and test design and methodologies to reduce cost, increase yield, and improve throughput
- Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 25 years of work experience or experience in RF and analog engineering
- Working knowledge of the full life cycle of a product from Proposal to Design to Production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chip and wire, SMT, and module level design and integration experience
- L-Band through V-Band design and integration experience
