BAE Systems is seeking Systems Engineering Deputy Lead for the Portable Mission Planning System (PMPS). Duties include managing program requirements, developing and maintaining detailed design documents, system integration and test. Also includes regular reports of program status to program management as well as technical interchange meetings with program customers. Work with a small team of Systems Engineers and Software Engineers using the Agile Scrum development process.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- US Citizen with active Secret clearance
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years' or more experience in field
- Experience with systems engineering processes.
- Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic project needs.
- Some knowledge of C or other software programming languages.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- US Citizen with active Top Secret clearance
- Previous job experience with the Mission Planning, developer, or tester. Military operations experience a plus.
Experience working with DOORs, Jira, and Confluence tools. Good communication skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
