The NGA Dissemination team is looking for talented Systems Administrators to provide Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support to Linux OS for multiple servers across the Enterprise. As a Systems Administrator, you may:
· Support the security hardening of applications and services deployed on all assigned systems
· Monitor systems and services for availability and supports troubleshooting to return to operational state
· Work closely with other System Administrators, Software and Systems Engineers to maintain the backbone for many mission essential systems

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of work experience or equivalent

• RedHat Enterprise Linux or similar Linux OS knowledge

• At a minimum, must possess a Security certification

• Ability to work independently or with a team (as needed)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Understanding of Apache, JBoss, Docker and PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Geospatial Data

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
