We are seeking Systems Administrators to:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Ability to work onsite 100% of the time

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors Degree
- 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Current Security certification
- RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL): expert level installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Experienced in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting
- Customer specific security status tracking/monitoring/reporting tools: Proficient
- Strong Linux skills

- Ansible
- Remote system management/maintenance
- Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) applications on mission-critical systems: installation/troubleshooting/maintenance
- Splunk, Elastic Search, or other status aggregating tools
- Virtualization, Containerization (Docker, Kubernettes)
- Apache Niagara Files (NiFi), HTTP server, Tomcat
- Centrify/Delinea
- FreeIPA
- Remote desktop tools (VNC, X11)au
- Advanced TCP/IP network principle
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Salary : $115,779 - $196,825
