Job Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will lead an experienced group of engineers in the development of advanced precision kill weapons systems.

About the Role:

• Lead a team of engineers in the development of APKWS products, including ground launch and maritime applications.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership and Technical Subject Matter Experts to drive innovation and meet customer needs.
• Interface directly with customers to derive and shape the next generation of APKWS products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with semi-active laser systems and working across the entire systems lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in DASAL technology and laser-guided munitions.
• Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics and low-cost design principles.

Pay Information:

Full-time salary range: $126,610 - $215,270. Please note that individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity.
