We are seeking a skilled Technician III to join our Production team at BAE Systems. This role will involve performing RF system testing and electro-mechanical troubleshooting for sub-assemblies and upper level assembly production deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform RF system testing and electro-mechanical troubleshooting for sub-assemblies and upper level assembly production deliverables
- Use commercial test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters
- Read and navigate test-plans, work-plans, blueprints, schematics, engineering directives, and change orders
- Test and troubleshoot sub-assembly and upper assemblies with precision according to system specifications
- Identify electro-mechanical defects or failures at the system level and follow company procedures operational sheets to remedy
Requirements:
- Electrical Technology/Electronics A.A.S. degree or certificate
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Must have or be able to obtain secret clearance
- Experience as an RF test technician within a production-line atmosphere
- Basic math skills
- Strong desire to learn on the job
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
- Must be able to organize to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of ESD product handling, standard safety procedures, and PPE requirements
- Reliable transportation, professional appearance, and attitude
- Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and communication skills
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
