Baer is looking for an SAP BTP Fiori UI5 Developer for a 8 month project located in Boston, MA.

Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications on the SAP BTP platform to meet business requirements. Ensure seamless user experience and high-quality, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), RESTful ABAP Programming Model, and development using SAP Business Application Studio.
• Develop and integrate OData services, CDS Views, and Embedded Analytics on SAP BTP. Understand the integration of SAP BTP with other SAP modules and third-party applications to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
• Provide technical guidance and establish best practices for SAP BTP application development. Influence the development processes and tools to ensure adherence to SAP's architecture guidelines and industry standards.
• Work with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Workflow services to streamline business processes and enhance automation within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and DevOps methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions within tight timelines. Support both IT and business stakeholders during their transition to SAP BTP.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP BTP applications to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization. Implement strategies for cost management and performance tuning.
• Work on SAP Build and ABAP Cloud to support clean core methodology, ensuring that customizations are minimal and that SAP's standard core solutions are maximized.
• Design, document, and maintain the SAP BTP architecture blueprint, guiding the company’s cloud infrastructure, integration, data management, and security.
• Collaborate closely with business users, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure that SAP BTP solutions align with business objectives and IT strategies.

Requirements:

• 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP, SAP Fiori/UI5 development, and SAP Cloud Platform technologies.
• Strong experience with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, OData Services, CDS Views, and Embedded Analytics.
• Expertise in Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and RESTful ABAP Programming Model.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio and related development tools.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and related web technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP services and libraries, including integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors) and third-party systems.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices for cloud application development.
• Understanding of SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Workflow.
