Baer is looking for an SAP CLM Lease Accounting Consultant for a 6 month Project located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Title: SAP CLM Lease Accounting Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: C2C

Description:

• Lead the implementation of SAP CLM within the SAP S/4HANA framework, tailoring the solution to meet specific leasing business needs (lease agreements, asset management, billing, revenue recognition).
• Provide guidance on lease contract management, including structuring agreements, automating payment schedules, and managing assets throughout the lease lifecycle.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to align SAP CLM with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16, ASC 842). Configure the system for accurate journal entries, depreciation, interest expense, and lease liabilities.
• Work closely with finance, IT, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP CLM with other business functions like procurement, asset management, and financial reporting.
• Assist with the migration of legacy lease data to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Participate in system testing, troubleshoot issues, and train internal stakeholders on SAP CLM usage, focusing on lease management and accounting.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to optimize lease management and accounting accuracy within SAP CLM.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA CLM, specifically in leasing.
• Strong understanding of leasing principles, lease agreements, and financial lease management.
• Expertise in global accounting standards, including IFRS 16 and ASC 842.
• Solid accounting background with a focus on lease accounting processes.
• Experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and training end-users.
