Baer is looking for SAP Vertex Tax Consultant for a 9 months Federal Project located in Orlando, FL.

Title: SAP Vertex Tax Consultant
Location: Hybrid - Orlando, FL
Duration: 9 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead the integration process between Vertex and SAP S4HANA, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Configure Vertex to align with business requirements, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance.
• Demonstrable experience working with SAP Financials modules.
• Understand financial accounting processes and how they integrate with tax systems.
• Manage and maintain accurate customer and supplier data within Vertex.
• Ensure data integrity for correct tax calculations.
• Experience handling sales and procurement transactions within SAP S4HANA.
• Implement tax calculation rules for various sales and procurement scenarios.
• Configure tax rules in Vertex based on material groups.
• Ensure accurate tax calculations for different material types.
• Develop and maintain tax reports using Vertex.
• Use reporting tools to provide insights and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Vertex and SAP S4HANA integration.
• Strong understanding of SAP Financials and tax processes.
• Expertise in managing customer and supplier data in tax systems.
• Experience in implementing tax rules for sales and procurement scenarios.
• Strong reporting skills, with the ability to develop insights from tax data.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
