Baer is looking for EDI Business Analyst for a 9 month project located in Atlanta, GA
Title: EDI Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid Atlanta, GA (3 days onsite/week, 2 days remote)
Duration: 9 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:
- Work closely with business users to gather and understand their needs, translating them into technical requirements for EDI solutions.
- Document and analyze business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Assess the impact of EDI integration on business operations, ensuring that solutions align with overall business goals.
- Design, implement, and maintain EDI solutions, including data mapping, validation, and translation between systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI data flow, integration, and system connectivity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest EDI standards, protocols, and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and successful project execution.
- Work closely with IT teams, business users, and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of EDI systems.
- Provide training and support to end-users on EDI processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct integration testing to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of EDI data exchanges.
- Identify quality control procedures and create documentation for best practices.
- Monitor and address product issues, continuously improving system performance and functionality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for EDI processes, configurations, mappings, and solutions.
- Create user manuals, training materials, and process flow diagrams for internal teams and end-users.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of EDI-related projects.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure alignment with deadlines and milestones.
- Escalate critical issues and coordinate resolutions with appropriate teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an EDI Business Analyst or in a similar role involving EDI processes and solutions.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and integration protocols.
- Experience with EDI mapping tools, translation software, and data exchange platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
