Baer is looking for an SAP Enable Now Training Consultant for an 8 month Federal remote project. Title : SAP Enable Now Training Consultant Location : Remote with 4 weeks of travel (Must be based in US) Duration : 8 months Alignment : W2 or C2C (Vendors not permitted) Opportunity Description : Our client is currently working with a major branch of the Department of Defense (DoD) to continue modernization of their critical Financial and Procurement systems. Specifically, the program is tasked with moving various client operations onto a single-instance SAP ERP platform across standard reporting, Budgeting, General Ledger (GL), and related feeder systems. The program encompasses large-scale teams working on SAP ERP Legacy System Transition to SAP, Training & Change Management, and Sustainment Support. The SAP solution scope includes DoD-specific processes aligned with SAP ECC solution components across FI, CO, FM, PS, AM, WFM, MM / IM, WM, and SD. Role Description : We are seeking an SAP Training Consultant with expertise in SAP Enable Now and SAP Presenter to support end-user training and digital adoption efforts for a DoD SAP ERP financial management modernization initiative. This role will play a critical part in training development, content creation, and delivery of SAP-based training materials to military and civilian personnel. Key Responsibilities :
Engage key stakeholders across finance, procurement, and supply chain functions to assess training needs and develop tailored learning solutions.
Design, coordinate, and conduct training sessions based on staff and organizational learning needs.
Conduct ongoing needs analysis, leveraging end-user feedback, field interactions, and subject matter expertise to adjust learning strategies and curriculum.
Utilize SAP Enable Now to create interactive, role-based simulations, guided tours, and embedded learning materials within the SAP environment.
Incorporate SAP Presenter for engaging multimedia-based presentations and training sessions to enhance knowledge retention.
Conduct Train-The-Trainer sessions and full-scale training delivery, ensuring adoption of SAP best practices.
Participate in formal walk-throughs of training materials, revise content, and provide ongoing course development as necessary.
Support user onboarding, sustainment training, and knowledge retention efforts within the DoD SAP landscape.
Travel required : Candidates must be willing to commit to four (4) one-week travel assignments to locations such as San Diego, Jacksonville, Virginia Beach, Bremerton, Honolulu, and Naples, Italy to facilitate in-person training. All required travel will be completed by August 2025. Requirements :
Nine (9) years of progressive, relevant experience, including six (6) years of experience leading innovation initiatives.
Prior experience with DoD SAP training initiatives focused on FI, CO, FM, and SD modules with an understanding ofbudget execution, purchase orders, purchase requests, and financial processes.
Strong hands-on expertise with SAP Enable Now for digital training content development.
Proficiency in SAP Presenter for interactive training sessions.
Ability to effectively translate complex SAP processes into clear, digestible training materials.
Flexibility to travel as needed (approximately 4 one-week trips) through August 2025.
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate technical field.
